<p>I'd really appreciate some hard facts about winners of this prestigious scholarship. Include anything you consider relevant to why you received it. Vandy's website is really vague. It basically says "most scholars have a 1500+ Math and CR and are strong leaders, have strong ECs, etc."</p>

<p>I'd like some more info! How much do the interviews in the later rounds count? Thanks!</p>

<p>Well I don't know how relevant it is since I ended up turning it down, but I got it for engineering, and they didn't require any interviews. I had 36 ACT and 1600 SAT, #1 rank at a midsize (800) all-boys catholic high school. Also some leadership stuff like student council and sports, clubs, and the like</p>
