I was hoping that someone out there would know of an excellent summer opera program that wasn't already way, way past its application and audition deadline, for a college student. School-based or festival based both fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>OP -- Agree with previous poster. Post your question on the Music Major sub-forum. Many knowledgeable folks there who will be happy to help.</p>
<p>There are lots of posts about summer programs on the Music Major board - I think there are application deadlines are in January and February so I'm sure there are things still available.</p>
<p>Walnut Hill School for the Arts has a wonderful summer opera program in Natick, Massachusetts. I think you still have a month or 2 to get you application in.</p>
<p>You should take a look at the Tanglewood Vocal program and see if that would work for you.</p>
