Hey im taking US Gov and Stats next yr and since some of you have just taken the AP i just wanted to know two things....

What were the best books for each (can post more than one book)?
What was on the AP which the review book didnt cover and you wish it had (and where can i find it)?

Get Cliffs for US Gov for good review, but take the Princeton Review prac tests, they’re right on the spot in terms of difficulty of the actual exam, which isn’t hard.

i heard about this book Ethel Wood is that good?

For Stats, Barron’s is the best, definitely. Don’t be discouraged by their practice tests or practice problems after each chapter–they’re not exactly accurate in terms of difficulty or subject content. Also, practice released FRQs from the actual website and NOT Barron’s FRQ–those aren’t very accurate either.

P.S. The Barron’s study cards are pretty good to use for practice, as well.
