Okay guys. I am going to get test prep books soon to prepare for my ap tests starting from the fall. Before I go buy books, To those who received high scores (4-5) or anybody else, which are the best test prep books and do you have any advice/experience/things you would've done differently for the test(s) to get a 5 on these tests? Also I am going to take the class for each of these ap's except psychology- I'm going to self study. Is psych easy to self study?

From what I have heard
BEST Prep book for

Psych: barrons
gov: princeton
physics c: barrons/ princeton review?
stat: barrons
lit: I dont know.. barrons?

i took the class this year, but psych should be really really easy to self-study.
i used PR for gov and got a 4 (i’ll basically consider it self-study, the teacher was horrible. i only opened it like a week before the test, too.)
lit… you don’t really need a review book. if you can write the essays, and did well on lang, you’re set.

Psychology: Barron’s for sure.
AP US Gov: PR but for Comparative Gov, a book by Ethel Woods is better.
AP Stats: Barron’s
AP Literature: The majority is Cliffnotes but I’m not sure if any of the English APs can really be studied. It really depends on how your teacher preps you through reading and analyzing.
