Calls and Contact with Coaches

<p>Question:
Jr has been talking to Coach #1 since Oct via email. Coach #1 has all of his transcripts test scores and Sr class schedule. (This was requested about a month or so ago.)
June 28th, Jr called and spoke to Coach #1 for about 10 mins. At that time, Coach told him that they had a file on him and were looking forward to seeing him at camp. He then said for Jr to find him the first day of camp so that they could talk more and so he could answer any questions he had. Camp starts on Saturday.</p>

<p>So..my question is, is it a bad sign that Coach #1 did not call on July 1st? Or was a call not necessary as they just spoke on June 28th and camp starts July 7th?</p>

<p>No, not a bad sign at all. Coach probably has scores of kids he needs to contact in the week before camp starts - if he spoke to your son the 28th, he probably figures he’s all set.</p>
