CALS vs CAS - My fit?

Hey I’m debating whether or not I want to apply to CALS vs CAS.
If I applied to CALS I would major in Animal Science, but I’m not sure if my extracurriculars would show a huge fit, so let me know what you guys think. I’m also very passionate about learning about other subjects, equally passionate so I would also be very happy at CAS. Which one do you think i have a better chance applying to?
Here are my stats

ACT: 34 C | 35 R 32 M 35 E 34 S & 36 W
GPA weighted 96.39
No ranking
I’m from NY so in-state
White Female (1st generation American) - Dual Citizen
Senior Course Load: AP Calculus AB, AP Comparative Government, AP Psychology, AP Art History, AP Literature and Composition, Advanced Painting and Watercolor, Health (Max APs at my school is 3 they tell everyone but I got around that)
AP Scores (sophomore & junior years): World History (5); US History (5); Biology (5); AP Language & Comp (5)
I go to a well known Arts High School (Fine Arts Major) which you have to audition to get in, but it is also increasing in academic rigor.

ECs:
Equestrian Team (8 hours per week/ 2 years & 1 year before that of non competitive riding) -> this is all in HS i have rode all my life
Horseback riding counselor at sleep-away camp (108 hours/week for two months) -> where I took over as director of the department on the director’s days off, and also was in charge on those days and helped out on others on the care of the injured horses in the stables (administration of painkillers, medicine, etc.) [Also was invited as a counselor this year after a year of being a Counselor in Training and have been already invited back for next summer)
Saturday language school (4 hours for 10 years)
Model United Nations Club (3 years -> Publicity Chair (11th grade); Vice President (12th grade)
Unpaid Tutor: all four years of HS, tutoring an elementary school student whose parents are family friends for about 4 hours a week. I also tutor casually at my school in a variety of subjects.)
Art & Design -> I’m a freelance graphic designer; and also take like 1 and a half hours of art classes each day and then also work on my art in the free time. I have been in school wide art shows (which is semi-competitive to get into) & and have won a graphic design alumni award at my school (out of so many qualified artists at my school) and my poster design has been chosen out of 100+ entries for a musical at my school & am starting a Graphic Design internship at my school this year
Film Club (1 year) -> mentored by a School of Visual Arts professor (film is about horseback riding)
Spring Break Science Camp Junior year -> 30 hours in that one week working on laboratory science at ColdSpring Harbor labs. (genetics)
AP Biology Journal Club -> junior year when I took the class
Sales Associate at a store (senior year) -> 8 hours per week about

One of my problems i have is that at my school AP Psych is considered a science class, but I know usually it is considered a social science class in colleges and ik CALS is very science oriented school for Animal Science.

What would you major in if you applied to CAS? I think that as long as you can show your passion for animal science through your essays, you’ll have as good a chance of acceptance as anyone. I would apply to CALS just for the in-state tuition if nothing else (but if animal science is what you want to study, then CALS is the place to do it!)

I’m not totally sure what I want to study at CAS yet, but I know I would be as happy there too which is sorta confusing for me. As a general question Is it harder to get into CALS? Of course I won’t base my decision on this, I’m just curious.

@Ranza123 thanks!

According to the admission statistics by college from 2011 (I think there’s a more recent one out there somewhere but I can never seem to find it) the acceptance rate for CALS was about 19.5% and for CAS it was about 15.5%. I’m pretty sure the percentages for both have decreased over the years, but my guess would be that overall CAS is still slightly more selective (depending on what major you apply for in CALS).

Here’s the 2011 data: https://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000003.pdf

In case this is useful for anyone else: I got in! I applied to CALS for Animal Science class of 2020, but am so far unsure if I will enroll.
