CALS - Where's My Letter?

I applied to Cornell's Agriculture & Life Sciences College (Applied Econ) and I have yet to receive an answer from them even though it's on a rolling basis. I heard that people started receiving them as early as February 15th. Does this mean I'm in the reject pile?

Note: One of my teachers mailed a recommendation in a month late.

But still...it shouldn't take this long right?

Has anyone who already received decisions gotten rejected or wait-listed? It seems like only people who've received decisions so far have been accepted.

Relax, Yan
Have you seen any AEM acceptances on this board? It seems as though every year, those applicants find out on or near the Ivy common notification date. Good luck... only two more days.

Thanks Tahoe, one more question - Is AEM a popular/competitive major? If so, fudgecakes!=_=''...that's not good.

do a lot of people apply to CALS b/c it's the easiest college to get into?

from what i've read on here and what i hear from my friend that goes there, aem one of the hardest majors to get into there. also regarding the date, the rolling dates were 2/15-3/15, but they dont finish, so all the rest are released on 3/29...i'm nervous, good luck everyone

Yan,
You already know the answer to your question - it is a hard major to gain acceptance into, but I looked at your stats from previous posts and you are a very competitive applicant.

RW: do a lot of people apply to CALS b/c it's the easiest college to get into?

RW: Easiest? Really? Not necessarily true, and why do you care? (BTW - AEM has a ridiculously low acceptance rate!) Not nice to put others down.

Which college did you get into?

OP, The valedictorian of my school is in the same situation. And she even applied ED. You'll know thursday, as will she and I. Good luck.
