Last year, they figured out their decisions 12/12, which is a Saturday. I wonder if that means we will figure out our decisions today or not…

Yeah last year was 12/12 at around 2pm so I wonder if we’ll be getting our decisions today… 3 more hours!
Of course, decisions may come out tomorrow at 2pm… or Dec 15 at 5pm so I guess we’ll just have to see! GOOD LUCK Y’ALL.

I hope they release it 2pm est this year… That’s only 9 minutes from now!

The confirmation email said “mailed” by the 15th…there is nothing on the Caltech website to indicate that the decisions will be emailed…so if they are that will be essentially out of nowhere. Yes, it does seem like last year’s decisions came via email, however, maybe they decided to change their method of notification this year.

Awww, I guess not today.
12/15 here we goooo

Last year students got an e-mail with a link. The e-mail did not have the results. When you clicked on the link it took you to a webpage with your results. So when you click on the link be prepared for the result. I do not think there was an intermediate page. I am going to guess the results will be there before the 15th. I think last year they timed it to be before MIT.

Good luck to all of you

Good luck guys! I guess results will be out very soon, est. less than 10 hours time?!

I thought they don’t work on Sundays?

Does caltech email out the decisions before the deadline of December 15th?

Last year

Wow. The email just came.
12pm EST exactly.
I’m shaking. :(

Whoo, deferral!

It’s a deferral…

Again good luck to all of you. Do not get disheartened if the result is not to your liking. My S went through this process last year and everything worked out fine.
