Same here @BetterThanBest! But I have a feeling it’s going to be 15th, like airbusfan said. They just finished accepting midyear reports a few days ago.

How are decisions conveyed anyway? Someone told me that they post snail mail first and send emails 4/5 days later. Is that true?

Do any of you know if the results are coming out on the portal (application status site)?

guys, I don’t think results are going to be posted today… well this is depressing.

From what I’ve read in previous threads, an emial is sent out to check your student portal. Yup, doesn’t look like it’s coming out today

Instead of resorting to subjective speculation, does anyone want to take one for the team and just call the Admissions office to ask?

I’m international and it’s midnight here. Wish I could.

@ AndromedaSaysHi
When I applied Early Action, the “check your student portal” email was sent right after the decision was posted on the Caltech student portal.

Also, looking through the past regular decision dates, Caltech sent RD decisions on the 2nd Saturday for the last four years. And 5 years ago, the decision was sent on March 5th. So I think it’s possible that we’ll receive the decision today.

And yes, it would be great if someone would call the admissions.

guys, it’s saturday, the main office isn’t even open…

Unlike other schools…Caltech enjoys notifying their applicants to “check your student portal” within a very very short period of time from the time they “send out the decisions”…and as I have said before and as @PiquantPeppers has noted it will be TODAY around 12 Noon Pacific Time…

Is anyone else furiously refreshing their emails like me?

@PiquantPeppers Oh, I see. Okay then, let’s wait for that email.

@heyhey2

Simultaneously refreshing my email and trolling in the Twitch Plays Pokemon stream :)

I’d say distract yourself for the next 45 minutes. No point in refreshing before it’s noon in Pasadena

16-76 minutes to go for the rejection. :p

The time has come. Good luck!

Anyone heard anything yet?

1 more minute… maybe.

nothing yet…

Or not?
