Caltech Decision Date - March 12?

ummm… has anyone else not gotten any results? I definetly have not received the letter yet?? not in my inbox or spam or any other folder. is there any other way to find out? maybe check a website or something?

I haven’t gotten an email yet either… Wonder if it’s by last name because mine is near the end alphabetically… I’ve been checking impulsively for the past hour :/

It’s all sent out at once. If you’ve checked your spam folder and found nothing, I would suggest you email the admissions office directly.

Lol, I got rejected :(. Oh well, I knew it was a long shot! Congrats to those who get in!

Waitlisted…does anyone know how Caltech is with waitlisting? Is it like usual schools where you almost have no chance?

did you guys who got emails about admission/rejection/waitlist apply regular decision?

Rejected :(

I applied EA and got deferred. I haven’t received any admissions decision email yet but it’s probably because I didn’t respond that I wanted to be reconsidered for RD until after the Feb. deadline

accepted! now to wait for MIT on monday

Rejected :/

Oh well, I applied to ~10 colleges so I have other options. Though admittedly few of them have the sunshine which Caltech does.

But I spent a lot of time on the essay :/

I can’t believe I have been accepted into such a fantastic school as CalTech, and that they have considered ME worthy of one of the select few international places.

I was honored to write texts (and have them read them) and just to apply to this great institution, and now they have even offered me a place and taken me in! I’m lost for words… Thank you CalTech!

Good luck everyone on his/her MIT decision Monday

From Princeton Review:

accepting a place on wait list: 394

% admitted from wait list: 0
I don’t know what year that’s from, but the answer is yes.

I think that was the year before. Last year they did accept a few from the waitlist, but not very many.
