So for the third CalTech “essay” the instruction is:

<p>Well I think my face is pretty interesting, but I don't think the admin. officer is gonna be happy when he sees that. =/</p>
<p>Maybe put in a picture of a painting you like, lyrics to a song you like, but I would definitely put in some text explaining why you like so Caltech gets a better idea of who you are.</p>
<p>I would fill that box in with an interesting story or fact I knew. Personally, I would probably write about this special I saw on how it's possible for two twins' DNA to combine in one body and that a woman with this problem had her children taken away because her DNA did not match theirs' and courts ruled that they were not hers. And a man who got away with rape because the DNA in his fluids did not match the DNA from his blood. Isn't that fascinating? Well, I think it is.</p>
<p>I don't care if you use this (although it will probably bode much better for you if you don't); I'm not even remotely considering CalTech. I live down the street and I hate math and engineering. :)</p>
<p>They have the same thing on the Rice application. I'm still waiting for inspiration to hit.</p>

<p>A lot of the CalTech freshmen told me to draw porn. -__- apparently, a lot of them are repressed nerds who "go wild" at CIT and post pinup pictures of Playboy centerfolds on their dorm walls.</p>
