<p>I have applied to Caltech as a transfer student for Fall 08. I have taken their entrance exams a few days ago. Does anyone know what is the average score on these exams? Did anyone take them before? How important these exams for the admission process?
I'm very curios about these exams, the Physics one was somewhat challenging.

<p>I think that complicated exam thingy repels lot of potential transfers from even trying.</p>

I took the SAT II's in math and physics, after taking Caltech's exams I think that the SAT II is a walk in the park...
I wonder how much weigh they put on these exams and what is the average grade? Did anyone take it except me??!! :-)</p>

<p>No pain...no gain....lol. Looking back, I enjoyed these exams it was a good work out for the mind ;-)</p>
<p>I really wanted to do them, but was interceded by unfortunate circumstances. I'd apply just to take the test, but by next year, if it's a challenge, then upper-division EM/mechanics must really suck at UCSD.</p>
