<p>I was recently accepted to Caltech EA and accordingly, I'm very excited about attending. My parents, however, are unsure whether the financial package they will provide will be adequate. I was also accepted to my state school, the University of Kansas, with full tuition, room, and board. Other school have offered me decent financial aid packages as well. My family's income is approximately $80,000 total (both mom and dad work). What kind of aid packages can I expect from Caltech?</p>

<p>As for financial aid, Caltech financial aid will find a way to meet your determined need through loans, grants, and work-study. The amount your family is expected to pay is determined with arbitrary methodologies. <p>If your parents are making 80k though, I'd expect a pretty generous financial aid package.</p>
