Caltech

OMG just went through that DPS site. They've listed so many people as having 95% scholarships at UBER TOP universities.. *** look at this, for example..

Ankit Prasad
Computer & Electrical Engineering Cornell, Duke, Rice, Dartmouth, Colgate, Iowa State, University of Arizona 95% Scholarship at Duke, Dartmouth & Colgate; full tuition at Rice University; 70% tuition scholarship at Iowa State, U Arizona

I wonder if they've fudged the data or is it actually possible for so many of their students to get pretty much a full ride everywhere possible.

Hmm.. almost half of the students in that list have applied to Drexel.

Wel they do have some good kids...bt then again..with almost 1000 students in a batch..not a big surpise

Waitlisted, lol better than I expected, It means I actually had a chance maybe I'll get in somewhere else... Hopefully MIT!

250 people per year seems like a gross overestimate! :D Seriously, I studied there for a year. And the school's definitely good, but not that good! My school has just sent one person to MIT last year, and I think thats about it. Partly because most people prefer staying in India rather than going abroad for studies. Not me though!

Not any of us, lol!

And my bloody school will see me as the first person to go for something like this in USA...Amrica as they say.
If only we could have our 5 years back, I would have got into a boarding school in US and then things would have been better. 3 people i know have taken this step and I think that's wise.

It would be nice to think about all this, but fact is, its not going to do us any help whatsoever. Sad, isnt it?

And I would have switched to IB had I known.
