Caltech's 01/03 Deadline - PST, EST?

<p>I know this thread will become useful for future last-minute applicants, but last night I went off a Caltech blog from a few years back stating that the <em>official</em> timed deadline for applications to Caltech is 11:59PM, PST.</p>

<p>I submitted mine roughly at that time. Obviously, CommonApp (its timezone being EST?) states I submitted my application at 01/04, but it should fit under the guidelines.</p>

<p>Now, why do I ask this question? I'm just curious to see if anyone's CommonApp forms have been 'Downloaded' by Caltech yet. If it has, offer your time (and timezone!) & date of submission? Mine has yet to be downloaded; perhaps I was misinformed...</p>

<p>Might not be very helpful but I submitted mine on the 27th of December, and they downloaded it the next day…give it some time, they probably have a butt load of things to process :)</p>
