<p>I have a question about caltech deadline. its due on 01/03. I sent the app at 1 am ct on 01/04, which is 11pm pst 01/03. However, i noticed that after an app is sent the status next to the app component changes from in progress to dowloaded. mine says submitted. does this mean caltech did not get app in time? or does it mean they have not downloaded yet? but i have read on commonapp that once a deadline passes one can not submit the commonapp to that school so since i was able to do so is it still on time?

<p>From my own personal experience, once you’ve successfully submitted your app, it says ‘submitted’ and then in the coming hours or even days, it changes to ‘downloaded’. I don’t think this is a reflection of whether you’ve gotten it in on time or not. If it said ‘submitted’ before the deadline, I think you’re fine :)</p>
