Just got the rejection email. Glad to know, at least!
Any updates?
Didn’t get it, at least I can move on now.
I got rejected too, but somehow the overwhelming feeling is relief. Now I have an answer. And, even with my accomplishments, I knew I had like .001% chance at the scholarship so now I don’t have to stress over an interview or anything like that.

I had my interview this week…I think it went pretty well but I honestly don’t know how it compared to others. Can any other finalists share any thoughts on their interview?
Mine is later in November but I’m sure you did great! message me if you’d like to talk more about it:))
Mine is also later in November! Would you mind sharing any tips you have for the interview based on your experience?
Of course! Just look over your application ahead of time because they ask a lot of questions about that. Honestly, just try not to be nervous! The interviewers were super nice and we even chatted at the end for a little bit about random things. Good luck! Update here with how you think it went
does anyone know when exactly we will know the final winners? also how long are interviews going on for? mine is mid-November, but I would imagine there would be more happening after that
According to this forum in previous years the final winners were announced in mid- December. I read an interview with a scholar that said their interview took 2 hours but my email from the foundation said around 1 hour. Hope this helps!
Yeah, mine was a little over an hour. I think that they might have been longer than an hour before because they flew to your school and talked in-person.
I had mine as well. I was fairly nervous but thought it went well. They were super nice and there were no trick questions :). So relax and just get ready to talk about yourself a lot!
@Neuropower That’s great! How long was the interview?
Maybe an hour and 10-15 minutes?
how much earlier before your interview are you supposed to receive further information such as the zoom link (or whatever platform they use for doing interviews)?
nvm I got it figured out!
Just had my interview! Overall, it went pretty well, but they did ask some unorthodox questions. I think it was about an 1 hour and 10 minutes long.
@Superwizz I hope you don’t mind me asking, but which questions did you find to be unorthodox? I had mine earlier today and I thought it went pretty smoothly!
@krispykreme4 - would you mind listing some of the leadership activities/initiatives you are involved in? Thanks in advance.
