is it possible to go to pre-pharmacy in community college and then transfer into normal pharmacy college????for master degree..
i came to us a year ago and my sat horrible!!!its 540/370/360 math reading and writting
i just asking in case...

You could go to community college, get good grades, transfer to a state university for a bachelor’s, then apply to graduate school for a master’s.

yea that what i though…
how lonng the community college?
is it hard to transfer?
i was thinking about transfering to UB is it possible?

Is English your second language? I would work quite hard to improve your verbal and writing skills.

Yes, the University at Buffalo is a SUNY school, which should have transfer agreements with community colleges in New York. Check school Web sites and call transfer counselors at the CC you’re thinking of attending.

Your best bet is to go to community college for two years, then transfer as a junior.

people, this is a ■■■■■. don’t take him/ her so seriously

stressedouttt -

Whether or not the OP is a ■■■■■, that doesn’t matter. Sooner or later someone else who has this question is likely to find this thread and will need competent advice.

im not wrting for the first time!!
so dont call me ■■■■■!!!
so i was looking for some community college that have some pre-pharmacy and i cant find!!!
soo what am i supposed to do go to some random major and then transfer?
i think ill just take the toefl…that probably will be good+ my sat math score…that is 540
…right now im learning to reading…ok so ill take the sat again and if it will be bad ill go to the college office at my school at the beginning of the year…
what u think should i do?

Continue to work on written English skills -spelling and punctuation .

but the requirements are so high!!!
how am i suppose to compete with american on lenguage that im using only a year (i know i learned it in israel) but still can u give me any options beside the sat?

Your options are:

Spend more time and energy reading and writing English, then taking toefl, sat, etc. as you try to get into a university

Go to community college where you can focus on your English skills while taking basic required general ed courses, then transfer.

Give up the idea of studying in the U.S. Fact is, without good English skills your odds of actually graduating are fairly slim.

danielia,

You need to make an appointment with the admissions counselor at the community college closest to where you live. Tell that person that your goal is to complete a pharmacy degree. Ask that person what classes you need to take at the community college in order to transfer to a four-year college or university that will get you into pharmacy school. The counselor at the community college will be able to help you with this.

I am not certain how well you understand the higher education system in the US. You might like to read through [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.info/) because it full of information for international applicants. You also need to spend some time talking with your high school guidance counselor. That person should have good ideas for you, especially if he or she has worked with a lot of recent immigrants.

Good luck!
