I received a letter today from U of M inviting me to attend a summer program in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I think it's only for U of M students but I haven't received an acceptance letter yet. I applied in early January.
Here's a link to information about the program: UM Geological Sciences

I think I have decent stats for the University of Michigan (4.0 GPA/34 ACT) but am I accepted?

Do I have to be a U of M student?
No, any student, 18 years and older, accepted into or currently attending an accredited college or university is welcome. Guest students make up approximately ¼ of our student body each summer, and are encouraged to apply. Guest student applications can be found at the end of the Course Info Pack. Please be sure that your home institution accepts credit from the University of Michigan before enrolling. Once a course has been successfully completed, a U of M credit transfer form can be found here.

Well, seeing as how my major of interest is Geology, I plan on going to this regardless of whether or not I get in. It sounds awesome. (I also got the letter)

Our daughter who graduated from U of M in 2009 with a Program in the Environment (PitE) concentration. She went to the Camp Davis summer program and enjoyed it a great deal. They travel to sites in many states to study geology. She is now a staff scientist with an Environmental Consulting Company.
