My son is going on flex dollars this year. When we went on the college tour there a few years ago, I thought I remember the tour guide telling us the Campus Pizza is on the plan. I also heard that Campus Pizza has a pre-pay meal plan. Is any of this true?

Per my son (rising Jr), next year is the first year that flex dollars will work anywhere off campus. He says you have to buy some sort of extra card (he doesn’t think its expensive) and he doesn’t know if Campus Pizza is on the list of places that will take flex.

He says Campus, Morici’s and a few other places have a pre-paid plan, but he didn’t have any details.

Any idea when an incoming freshman is supposed to sign up for meal plans? And is it done on-line? Or are there forms to download? Many thanks!

I seem to recall that being part of the bill for the fall semester. I don’t think there was anything to sign up for because freshmen only had one choice when my son was a freshman (2 years ago), so they just billed us the standard fee. It might be different now.

Lafayette dining has a website: [Welcome to Lafayette Dining Services](http://ww2.lafayette.edu/~dining/)
The answers might be there.

Right. The website says that freshmen have a choice of 3 options, all the same cost. I bet the actual selection is done at Orientation. I doubt he’ll starve.
