<p>I have been following the on campus recruiting process for three seniors in college, one of these is my child - 3 different colleges. None of them have been having much luck in the interview process. All three are excellent students and have done internships this past summer. Is this the hardest year so far? Any experiences from past years?</p>
<p>You need to include more details. What area of the country are they looking at? What industry? What’s their majors, extracurriculars, stats, etc?</p>
<p>inquiring, what do you mean by not having much luck in the interview process? Do you mean they did not get invites to any interview or not getting any offer after interviews? If it is the latter, then it is too early to get any definite response from employers at this point. It is still early as far as decision goes.</p>
<p>Christian, you were right. I was impatient. All of these three seniors were able to get good jobs in the areas of their choice. Now they can enjoy the rest of their senior year at college before they enter the real world.</p>
<p>It seems like the job market is opening up.I wish all others much success in their search!</p>

Now is the time that many companies will start either making firm offers or invite potential candidates for 2nd and/or 3rd interviews. There will be another wave coming early part next year for companies that might need to hire more people at that point.</p>
