<p>All of my friends were talking about College Confidential...and once I realized it wasn't a porn site...I made a post in the UMCP forum!</p>
<p>I've heard some horror stories about people getting mugged in broad daylight in CP parking lots (the ****?). If I wanted to get up for an early morning run (i.e. 7 AM), would campus be dead and scary and dangerous? Or is this practice common?</p>

<p>i don't have first hand experience of CP at 7 am, but i am pretty sure you'd be okay. i read somewhere that muggers target slow, vulnerable, weak looking people. sooo if you're running, i think you're fine. and with 25k students there's bound to be lots who get up early in the morning to jog. classes probably start around that time too (i think)</p>

people do get gunpointed and robbed and stuff like that on campus. But usually at night like really late. Morning is fine, everyone is walking around by 7 am.</p>
<p>OK, that's good - I always have my friends walk me to my car at night, too. They think it's so weird! I guess I'm just uncannily paranoid.</p>
