Will the adcom at a selective college completely reject me due to a bad AP score? I earned a poor score on the Calculus BC test, but I did take a Calculus class at Carnegie Mellon University over the summer and earned an A. Will they take this into consideration when they see my low AP score?

I think you can pay to not display your AP scores if you want....

yea, but i think they've already sent the score report to my school so its going to go along with my application

bump......

what score did you get

I got a 2 :(

most colleges use AP score for placement rather than admission purposes so you're okay.

Taking the Calc BC test before senior year is pretty good, I doubt they will use the bad score against you. Why are you sending an official report anyway?

it is better to have taken AP than no AP at all..

I do not focus on the AP exam, but rather keeping my 4.0 GPA...

I got a 3 on the ap world exam... but by the time of the AP exam, i honestly just want a 3 or above. i don't care that much about AP tests because AP tests will probably not make the difference at all. ;)
