-Nice recommendation from university advisor. Not sure if my essays count (but told by teachers that they were great).
-Familiar with a research environment because of the internship.
-Has legacy from father. But he went for Law School, so I'm not sure that counts for a whole lot. </p>

<p>you’re unweighted GPA is a little low but I think they will accept you especially with those kind of SAT II scores.</p>

<p>I think you have a great chance–remember, GPA and SATs are important but universities really look into what kind of person you are and NYU is no different (in fact I think that NYU looks more at your personality than other universities, but I might be completely wrong). Your SAT scores are great and, although your GPA is a bit on the “low side” for NYU (they usually require a 3.6) it’s not going to affect your chances that much considering everything else. Especially since 3.4 is not bad at all. And your ACT score is amazing.
