I want to apply to NYU's college of arts and sciences. I have a gpa of 3.6, 2 varsity sports, 5 clubs community service, good letters of recommendation, class rank of 51 out of 400+, member of National Honor Society, I have taken 6 AP's, and got a 1800 on the SAT. I have also taken the SAT literature subject test and got a 613 and the SAT US History little over 700 I cant remember exactly Based off of all of this do you think I have a fair chance of getting in. I know my stats aren't amazing but they aren't awful either. I really like NYU because it is in an urban setting, in the northeast where I am from and has a neuroscience major. If you don't think I could get in do you have any suggestions for other urban schools in the Northeast with neuroscience majors.

Also I will have taken 12 honors by the time I have graduate

Your SAT of 1800 is your weakest link.
Use one of NYU’s alternate test submission options and you have a very good chance.

I just checked their website and they say you can send AP test scores in. I have gotten all 5’s except a 4 on AP physics. Do you think it will hurt my chances to send AP scores instead of SAT?

In your case it will help.
Do that.
