I know the official release date of the ACT scores is next week, but I got an email from a college I listed to receive my scores, saying that it has received my scores.
It just gave me my composite score and nothing else.
Anybody else? I'm wondering if the school made a mistake in releasing the scores early..... :-*

This is fairly common. ACT will often send the scores to colleges as soon as they are available, even if that is before the official release date.

This is why I don’t believe in having the scores automatically sent…I’d rather see them before an admissions official is looking them over…in some cases, schools will take ACT or SAT…if ACT, for example, came in really low, I"d recommend sending the SAT only.

Southern hope, I agree. We always were told not to send them automatically. Just send the best, or for super scoring the best combination.

Do you think you can determine an estimate of the curve through the score you received?

I got a 33, which was much better than I expected. I got a 30.5 (31) and 31.5 (32) on previous tests, so I was not expecting to raise my scores to a 33. I thought reading was tougher and science fairly difficult, math easier and English the same as other tests. Fairly generous curve, I would assume, especially for science.

It did not allow me to see subject scores, just composite, so I can only roughly estimate.

Anyone else unable to login to the ACT website? I keep getting a message that it is “Temporarily Unavailable.” However, I can view other non-protected pages on the site.
