Can anybody help me with credits??

Hey everybody,
I was hoping somebody could send me a link that shows us how many credits each class is worth at Rutgers. If not, could somebody tell me how many credits these classes are worth:
Energy and Climate Change
Calculus I
General Biology
Expository Writing
Biology, Society, and Ecological Issues
Intro to environmental Science
Planet earth

I seem to be having a little problem with my math placement. I didn't score very high, I'm assuming, and have been placed into a math course that does not offer any credits, lower than Pre-calculus (slightly embarrassing). Because of this, I can't take General Bio. I'm afraid that I'm below 12 credits and am therefore not a full time student. I don't want to lose any of my financial aid! Please help me!

Although I am not 100% sure, I would guess that the credits for the math class still count as far as Financial Aid is concerned. The credits still count towards your total for the semester, even if you can’t apply them to a degree. At least this is how it works at most schools… You should look around on the financial aid website because that would be pretty ridiculous if you had to pick up another class because your math class didn’t count…

[Rutgers University - Online Schedule of Classes](<a href=“Schedule of Classes - Rutgers University”>Schedule of Classes - Rutgers University)

you can always take electives to get your 12 credits, although students are advised not to take them until their 3rd/4th year.

Just wondering from your username – are you a pharmacy student? You can view the number of credits for required courses in pharmacy under “PharmD Curriculum” on pharmacy.rutgers.edu. (I’m also in pharmacy, if it helps).

Calc I is 4 credits, Gen Bio is 4 credits, and Expos is 3 credits. I don’t know about the others – I’m guessing 3 credits – but you can look them up in the link that shu8i90 posted. If you are below 12 credits, just take an elective class like general psych. That’s what I had to do last semester, even though I’d finished all of my elective credits for pharmacy…I needed to take an elective anyway in order to have more than 12 credits for the semester.

You can also check webreg.rutgers.edu or dn.rutgers.edu for more information about class credits. or google rutgers university schedule of classes.
