Can anyone confirm this?

In another thread someone posted that NYU had sent rejection emails to some people at his/her school.

If that's the case no email may mean waitlist?

So can anyone confirm the existence of a rejection email from NYU

A follow-up question. The acceptance email said packets would be mailed Friday. So has anyone near NYC reported getting one yet?

@jazz/shreddermom

Yup, I’m from Queens and I received my acceptance package in the mail today! It is indeed postmarked 3/26. However, my friend who also received an acceptance email and lives 10 minutes away from me, have yet to.

wait, are acceptances priority mail? Or normal…or what?

regular mail…but in NY, if you mail something before around 9 (or something), it’ll get to a person in NY by the next day

Please don’t hijack my thread…

LOL @ Boddah1

No one really knows the answer because NYU was really pretty dumb about the emails…so idk if it’s true. Hopefully it is, which means that not getting an email may also be a good thing. lol

Well someone on CC may have gotten a rejection email is the only reason I asked

Thad could have been ED.

I don’t think they just emailed ED people now…

so…idk…there may still be hope! lol

Im pretty sure it’s not true…
