can anyone help me?

*if you dont wanna read the whole thing,
just read the last two paragraphs and please help me!!

okay.. so i'm in 11th grade right now(im not in the states)
and i took SAT II Bio last Saturday.

I've only took regular Bio 11--no such thing as honors Bio in my country.
(I took Bio 11 in my 10th grade)

When I was trying to figure out which subject test to take,
i found out that there are not many options for me.
but when I looked at Bio sample test(from collegeboard), it didn't seem too hard so i self-studied and took the test(as i said before)
i was doing pretty well with practice tests but with the real thing,
i think i won't even get 700.. i don't know what happened.

well anyways, im thinking of retaking it in June
so any advice for me?? i think the major problem is that i dont have
in-depth understanding of the materials.. so when it comes to more
complicated questions, i'm not sure of my answers..
plus some of the lab questions are difficult for me
(like im always left with 2 choices)

another question, what other subjects should i take?
whats usually the easiest one? how is world history?
(easy to self-study/straight forward questions/good curve)
i really wanna go to the states for my uni i need your help=D

Math II is a requirement for most universities.
Not the easiest test, but the most generous curve.
If you are re-taking bio I think you're fine on sciences, and if you have the time take a language subject test.

no...language subject test doesnt do anything...waste of time...just take bio and chem or physics and math 2. If you have the time, take Language tests but for sheer enjoyment as they are not counted in any college's admissions requirement.

Try chem, it isn't that bad.

o i always thought after taking 3 subject tests a language tests looks good.
maybe not ..

I took AP World and the test around a year and a half after. I did pretty well without studying. But, there was some random material that is hard to prepare for. Even my memory was failing me on some questions. I wouldn't recommend it unless you took the course. Not worth the time.

I think, if you're good with US history, the USH one is a breeze. Much shorter time span and you know it better than world history if you're in school in the US. Personally, I thought it was easy. But, I just took two practice tests and graded it before walking in.

US History may be easier than World History. (Especially if you are from China.)
My friend says physics and chemistry are not very difficult.

Hi, asdfjkl1. I am eager to know how difficult is the real US history test? Is it at Kaplan's level or at Barron's?

Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't see that sooner. E.Olenska, I thought it's not too difficult. Personally, I flew through the test and finished way early. I used the CB book and it was pretty accurate towards what sorts of things are actually on the test. My score was pretty accurate to the projected one in the CB book.

I didn't use any review book--just two practice from that official book. I can't say about Kaplan/Barrons because I didn't use it. If you're good with history but concerned about the "random questions," just remember--you can't study for those. You know them or you don't.
