Can anyone tell me their opinion on my chances of getting into these schools?

<p>Hi everyone! So I'm applying to these schools, and I want to get outside opinions on my chances of acceptance. My GPA isn't very high--3.0/4 (unweighted) and 3.96 (weighted). SATs: Reading-610, Math-640, Writing-700 (total of 1950). I am in the IB Diploma Program. Here is the list of schools:</p>

FAFSA is an application to see if you qualify for a federal Pell Grant and loans from the government which are dispersed by the universities (and the money doesn’t even begin to make a dent in the cost of attending). FAFSA is not a scholarship or money. It’s an application that gets sent to the universities.

The UC’s are state public universities which charge OOS students an additional differential fee of $23000 per year which cannot be paid by scholarships or federal dollars. So, your cost to attend a UC is $55K per year. The State of California is out of money. The UC system gets hundreds of thousands of applicants from around the world.
The UC’s are funded by California taxpayers, so the scholarships and grants go to the children of those taxpayers.

Students who are not tax-paying residents of California do not receive a dime of financial aid.

I don’t know much about the other universities other than NYU’s horrible Financial aid and BU’s stinginess with room and board. So, if you need financial aid to attend any of these schools, you need to revamp your list and add some safeties from your state. NYU is $60K, can you afford that? BU will run about $50K can you afford that?
