ok so here are my stats, I called them and they said I can submit it it before the end of march even though that is way past their deadline:

My Weighted GPA is 3.15

Ive taken all of the Hardest Classes I can Find, like i doubled up on sciecn junior and senior year and doubled on math senior year, which may be why my GPA is low

ACT scores as follows: Composite is 30, English and Math are 29, Reading is 28 and Science is 32. Combined English Writing is 31 and an Essay that earned a 12/12

I'm Not quite Sure if I should Submit my SAT Subject Test Scores, I got a 700 on Biology E, and a 650 on Literature, tell me if that will help me out

I personally think my Essays are very Well Written, I can post them if anyone wants to see them

A few clubs, volunteer work, internships, summer jobs, sports teams

Please tell me what my chances are and if you got accepted this year as well could you please put your stats and scores so i can Compare.

I can give some advice for a few of these:

Its good that you’ve taken hard classes…I’m pretty sure colleges take your course rigor into consideration.

Your ACT score is well within range. It’s up there and competetive so this is great.

Your subject test scores are good as well…definitely send them in!

5/6. Essays & ECs definitely add another dimension to your app. Admissions committees like to see that the applicant is well-rounded and LMU state that they take a holistic approach to admissions so I’m sure they will look positively upon these activities and a well written essay always helps!

Thats awesome that they are letting you submit your app!

Recently I was accepted to LMU ( it was sent march 17th and I got the letter today!) I am out of state, first generation, from one of the top 50 high schools in the nation (very competitive people here!!!) my weighted gpa is 3.8 my SATs were around 1800 and i took 6 ap classes over my high school career.

My extracurriculars include varsity track 4 years, volleyball, state art competition winner 2 years, and acceptance and involvement in programs relating to majors such as engineering, leadership roles, over 150 hours community service as a tutor for children in transitional housing.

I must say again that this school has a very holistic approach to apps. They aren’t just riding on good scores and gpas to fill admissions slots they want to see the individual and what they can contribute.

That said when I did my application I went with complete honesty in every way. My essay was about my faith and my religous journey with God. Writing such essay meant so much to me and I believe they could read that through the essay. I will say i was at first hesitant to write a religous essay even though this school is jesuit because I hadn’t written a religous essay for any other school. But I knew that if it felt honest that I was doing nothing wrong.

So my advice is be completely real with the admissions committee, don’t be afraid. You have very strong points and it just comes down to what picture your app paints of YOU. Im not an expert but I think it is likely you will here good news from them.

I recently got accepted and am Out of state also with similar stats. I’m just curious, how is your financial aid package? Mine is sucky and I really want to go here too!!!

Mine is really sucky too! Even with financial aid the school remains very expensive for me- I recieved a bit over $22,000 in financial aid from them which leaves around $33,000 for my family to take care of!!! I had been told before hand that they aren’t the most generous when it comes to financial aid but it still shocked me when I saw my actual award letter.

My aid COMPLETELY sucked! I got about $27000 which would leave $27000, left for my family to pay. And my EFC is $0, so I don’t kno how that is going to happen!

I live in Texas & I was sooooo excited when I got accepted till I saw my financial aid package. I was surprised to! They really should give more aid cause this is one of my top choices!!..
