Can going this Questbridge route for College Match hurt me in any way?

Hi! I'm a senior and a previous recipient of the Questbridge College Prep. I've been doing some research and have read some negative things about going through the College Match ranking with QuestBridge.

SO. I'm not going to rank. I'm going to forgo College Match Ranking and directly apply Early Action to Harvard (most likely). I am also definitely going to apply RD to Columbia University and Stanford University as well, and since they are both QB partner colleges, I am going to forward them my Questbridge app. Does that sound like a good idea? Or will doing that hurt me / lower chances of getting in? If it won't hurt me, will it help me (enough to make writing all of those questbridge essays worth it)? Thank you so much.

Also, just in case any stats help:
GPA: 4.6 w, 4.0 uw
SAT: 2340
SAT II: 780, 760, 720
Class rank: top
Asian
great ECs (in my humble opinion :)), lots of leadership,
family income: $23,000
first generation

Amazing stats. I like your strategy of applying to one EA, but then you should plan to increase the number of RD schools just in case.

Your focus should be need blind schools that will cover all of your costs. Use the calculator option and double check. Frankly, that would be easier than going the merit scholarship route since you would qualify for full aid.

Great Stats. You would have great chances of becoming a QB finalist. I am sure that it would help your chances considering your circumstances and using QB as like a unique banner. Best of Luck.

Thank you so much for your answers. I’m going to apply! :)

I don’t know why you wouldn’t do the ranking though. You could rank only non binding schools such as Stanford and apply regular decision to Columbia as well. I don’t see the negative of ranking because if you don’t get accepted, they view you AGAIN in regular decision.
