<p>My friend just submitted the SIR at UCI. Can he still change major? We understand of the major's requirements and breadth significances, but is it risky to go from Engineering to Biological Sciences now that he submitted the SIR? He has finally decided that he will be attending UCI and majoring in biological sciences. Thanks.</p>
<p>I changed my major after i sent in my fafsa, and it was changing from 1 school to another. took 3 days. iono if itz risky or not in ur case though.</p>
<p>Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can still change, if not online right now, then you can do it over the summer when you come in for advising. I think if you do it at advising they can take care of it almost instantly.</p>
<p>I requested a change on 3-31-05, and i got it changed 4-20-05.... but that's good enough for me, UCI here I come.</p>
