I am currently a freshman at a SUNY with sophomore standing due to all my AP credits (I took 11 APs and took rigorous course loads last semester and this semester). Would it be possible to then apply for junior transfer at another school, since technically I am a sophomore at my current institution?
Usually you don’t need to indicate that you are transferring as a sophomore or a junior. Usually you just file the transfer application, send your transcripts, and see what happens. If you target institutions that award credit for the same AP scores as your current institution, once you are enrolled, they will award you those credits.
