I'm having a slight problem with filling out the Common App. There's a section on the College Official's Report that asks for both credits earned prior to this academic year and including the current academic year. The problem here is that, because my current university gives out AP credit extremely liberally, I will have junior standing by the end of the year despite the fact that I am a first-year student. I am positive that, if I were to transfer to another university, that I would lose junior standing and be a sophomore transfer as I should be. However, I am aware that being a sophomore or junior heavily affects transfer decisions, and I am worried that if I put the amount of credits earned at my current university that I might not be accepted. This is because my high school career is much stronger than my first quarter GPA would imply, and I want the universities to put more emphasis on my high school career as a sophomore transfer. Would it be wrong to put the amount of credits that I would earn if I were to transfer rather than the amount I currently have? Or should I simply make a note of it somewhere in my application explaining the situation and that I would rather transfer in with sophomore standing?

I don’t think you need to worry about it because in reviewing your application, colleges will see that you are a current fr and that many of your credits came from AP credits. Your current college will have marked on your transcript either a lump sum number of credits due to AP coursework or will have put that you received credit for ‘Class X’ based on your AP score.
