Hi! I am a recently graduated violinist with a degree in music performance. I am currently exploring the idea of going back to school to train for a more stable career. I am a good musician, but I know it can be a hard life salary-wise, no matter how talented/hardworking you are. I am interested in the possibility of becoming a dentist. I have a very weak stomach for blood, and I was wondering if that's something that can be overcome with training and schooling. I was wondering how much I should be ready to spend for a dental program and if it will be possible to pay the loans off with a starting salary. Thanks so much for your time!

Before you spend money on this, spend some time shadowing a dentist. Understand the lifestyle, the changes to the profession etc. You can get your prereqs done in a post-bacc or Master’s program.
