Can I do rc and Ross?

I’m a high schooler looking to go to umich. I am planning on majoring in business and cell and molecular biology and minoring in economics. I want to get Ross preferred admission but also like the rc program. Would I be able to fulfill all of the class requirements and be allowed to do this? Or are there too many classes or Ross required housing?
Any help clearing this up would be great!

Make up your mind. Your plan does not really make sense. Also, it may prolong your graduation time.

Okay. Say I just major in cell and molecular biology and do the bba, forgoing the economics minor (I’m interested in both and see potential business and medical opportunities in mixing the two). I’ll be coming from the ib diploma so I’m pretty good at juggling classes and also have some pre reqs covered. Most of rcs requirements fall under both major’s requirements. If I did this, would I be allowed to do rc?

It is possible but you will need over 150 credits to graduate. It depends how many useful credits you may get from AP/IB if you can graduate in 4 years. Without those credits, it is almost impossible to graduate in 8 semesters and it will be tough to have a full load of credits every semester.

Thanks for the links and the advice! I’ll definitely check what credts I can get through ap/ib and if this whole deal is even feasible.

Sounds like a good plan to me, but it will take an extra year. Otherwise consider going in the spring/summer term. Are you planning on taking lots of language classes at RC? That would be extremely helpful IMO.
