Can I double dip courses for a major and minor req?

<p>So i’m majoring in history and some of my requirements for history also apply to some course requirements for a minor I’m looking into. There is a new minor (human rights) that will be offered soon and some of my history req. courses are also listed as part of the possible course choices that I can choose for my 2 req. courses for the minor.</p>

<p>is it possible to double dip in general for a minor using courses that are also part of my major requirements?</p>

<p>It’s not always possible, particularly if there is what the Registrar deems to be “too much” overlap between your major and minor. This is definitely something you’d want to check with your major advisor on.</p>
