hi. i signed up for the 19 premier plan and now i realize it will be too much food for me. so i want to downgrade from 19 premier to 11 cub. can i do something about it now? btw, i have already paid my housing money for this quarter. thanks!

Yes you can - but do it now before move-in, and they should refund the entire difference in cost…

11 cub? don’t go there man… at least get 14 regular…

On a similar note, how do I upgrade from 14P to 19P? Do they just charge the difference?

Also, if I rollover meals on 14P, will they rollover to my 19P as well?

i read on the website that it would cost me $25 to downgrade now and the deadline to do that is tomorrow. so how can i downgrade? and if say- i go from a 19P to a 14P (kick53rv3 has me reconsidering)- how much would i save? and how about if i drop to 11C? any place i can check that out? thanks for the responses, guys.

^ Use this

[2009-2010 On-Campus Housing Rates (1002806)](http://map.ais.ucla.edu/portal/site/UCLA/menuitem.789d0eb6c76e7ef0d66b02ddf848344a/?vgnextoid=cd6024df52071110VgnVCM200000ddd76180RCRD)

yes, just the difference… as for rollover meals im assuming you mean if you have extras from 14p say from the first week and will they add those ontop of your new 19p… but how they do it for upgrade is say you are on 14p… they take the number of leftover meals (btw in the beginning of the quarter you have roughly 1411weeks, and they’ll just subtract everytime you swipe from that total)… so anyways, they take the number of meals and add onto it, so if you upgrade 2nd week it’ll be: what you have left+ 510weeks (reminder of the quarter)

if i take the 14 blue plan, can i use it outside of the dining halls at the restaurants? just to clarify, the ONLY difference between blue and premier is the non-transferring of meals to the next week?

that and for 14 regular you can only swipe once per time frame, so if you want a smoothie between lunch and dinner you won’t be able to get one because then you can’t swipe for dinner… as for restaurants… are you referring to the ones on the hill (bruincafe, rendezvous) or the ones way down in ackerman and westwood (taco bell, rubios and such)? because the ones on the hill is owned by ucla dining so your meal plan will work… the non-ucla owned vendors don’t accept dining plans, obviously lol

a’righty. got it. thanks thanks! so basically you can just have one swipe per meal-time. not too bad, i guess, considering it’s 400 bucks cheaper). yeah, i was referring to the UCLA owned ones. heh! anyways- suggestions as to which one’s better? is the premier really worth the extra $$$?

i like it a lot, especially since you’ll miss some of the meals with regular and the swipe goes wasted… plus me and my roommates go for a lot of afternoon/after class smoothies and drinks/food/ice cream at night after sports…

it’s also useful if you want your family/friends from other schools to come visit you because then you’ll be able to swipe them in! :)

alright, thanks guys! i guess i’ll just go for 14 premier this quarter then! :)

14P & 19P on CC = MadeInChina and I exercising a… swipe tax.

at least my younger brother is on the hill this year… yee 19P.
