Is the 11th Grade enough to get into a college education? I've already taken my SAT, with a composite score of 1980.

Please help shed some light. Thanks in advance!

Provided you take enough courses to fill the requirement your school sets forth and potential college requires, you should be fine. Someone from my high school graduated at the end of 11th grade and went on to MIT. She had a 2300 on the SAT, but still.

Is there a specific reason why you want to graduate early? It might be an important question to consider.

If you’ve met all the course requirements, some schools will let you. But you need to think very hard about whether or not you actually want to. Not only are you missing out on a year of high school, you’re going into college a year younger than everyone else. What reasons do you have to want this?

Perhaps I didn’t add enough details. I’m a homeschooler from Malaysia who studied an American homeschooling system up till the 11th grade. I stopped there and took a gap year, thinking that would be enough. I took the SAT, and now I realize most colleges require that 12th grade. I will be 19 this year.

I feel trapped. Screwed over. Now what? I’ll be that old kid in class by the time I get in. Haha

Take a GED

I think Carnegie Mellon University in PA has a special program for people who want to do that
