Hey,

I'll be taking the Computer Science A AP Exam this May. I need to score a 5 in it. I was recommended the following books -

1-Barron's
2-Litvin's Be Prepared for the AP Computer Science Exam in Java

All I want to know if these books can yield me a 5. Also what is the cut-off % for a 5?

Any opinions? I already do coding. I just need to know if the practice Qs in this book are going to be like the ones in the exam…

You’ll be fine with those books, so long as you actually use them.

The curve varies each year, so there is no accurate answer. One website suggests the cut-off for a 5 is around ~75%.

I was just about to order these books, when I noticed that they are old publishings (09-10). As I’m just self studying, would that pose a problem?
