Can I get a chance?

<p>I was trying to see the possibilities of me getting into HPU.</p>

<p>I'm a Junior. I'm excelling in a school system that doesn't promote going to great schools like it should.(Birmingham City Schools, AL)
I scored a 26 on ACT first time as a sophomore and I'm definitely going to get even higher when I take it in the spring. I have a 4.03 GPA. I played JV basketball(Fr-SO) and Varsity Baseball(Fr-Jr). I am apart of my Academic Bowl team and FBLA. I currently apart of the Birmingham chapter of the Youth Leadership Forum. I am very active in my church and my baseball park. I take APENG, APUSH, and APCAL(first person to take this class as a junior since these classes have been available. I take Latin as a foreign Lang. These are my feats not even half way through my Junior year. Jus wanna know my chances.

<p>I am a current Sophomore at HPU, and your scores/grades were very similar to mine when I applied. With that being said, admission to HPU is becoming more and more competitive, and I would highly recommend contacting your High Point University admissions counselor and possibly visit HPU’s campus. All of that information can be found on the website at [Home</a> :: High Point University :: High Point University | High Point, NC](<a href=“http://www.highpoint.edu%5DHome”>http://www.highpoint.edu)</p>

<p>According to the school website the average ACT is 24 and the average unweighted GPA is 3.3. So I would say your chances are excellent.</p>

<p>I got in with a 3.3 gpa and 22 act… best of luck</p>
