SO what are my chances in getting into Umass Amherst, and BU. I've heard that my GPA is a little low, but I am still positive.

Your chances are excellent, especially if can get your SAT up a bit.

UMass uses weighted GPA, you are well above average; right now your SAT is right around average.

Keep in mind UMass’s admission rate is around 66%, which means plenty of kids are getting in with GPA and SAT scores below average. So if you can keep yours the same or improve them, you have a really good chance.

BU - no idea.

Amherst no doubt from me whatsoever

Bu is pretty tough but I see a lot of well roundedness in your list of accomplishments so I would say bu has a good chance at accepting you

You would have no trouble getting into either, but I’d recommend you stay away from Umass unless you want to spend the next 4 years of you life in a riotous, inebriated haze.

Yeah , 'cuz no one at BU drinks. Or any other college either. At UMass the raving hordes hold you down and pour it down your throat.

I never said that people don’t drink at BU or anywhere else for that matter. All that I’m saying is that partying represents a much bigger part of campus life here than elsewhere, after all, Umass was the only university in the country to have a superbowl riot…
