hmmm...I did get caught cheating on a test during reshmen year, but i dont think theyll care; it was 3 years ago and the Nation Honor Scoiety was able to ignore it.
So nywy, i wanted to know what my chances were of getting in, thanks.

each different school looks at applicants differently. but i'd say your stats are pretty strong.

Your stats are strong to get into some schools, not as strong to get into others. Why is it you want to go to an Ivy League school, in particular? Try to look at schools based on what they can offer you in your academic (or other) interests, as opposed to being solely looking for a name.

Getting caught cheating could hurt you. You still have a decent shot but if I were an adcom I'd wonder what else you were cheating on.

I don't think the cheating thing will be an issue since it was done so early in the high school years. How would they know, anyway? Is it on your transcript or something? If so, just have your counselor write a little letter saying you've changed and to please not consider that as it was an incident that taught you a valuable lesson and blah blah blah.

Sure you can. It's expensive, though.

The honor college within a college and lots of merit aid is an option that not enough look at.

NYU should be almost automatic.

Play your ED card at an Ivy other than HYP.

MIT would be pretty tough.
