I want to go to medical school, but I am wondering can I get into Med School with an English major? Is it easier for me to switch to a science major or should I remain an English major>

What are your grades in your med school requisite classes? Your overall GPA isn’t a stunner for any med schools admissions committee to be frank. try re-posting in the med school forum. Why Brown Med? At this point, ANY med school should be a serious consideration for you. Med school is not a point to get picky.

EDIT: But you earlier were asking about transferring to other colleges with a 2.9 cumulative GPA. A 2.9GPA student doesn’t miraculously become a 3.65 GPA student during her later (and more difficult) college years. Best of luck however.

I have been a physician for a long time. You can get into medical school with any major as long as you have the school’s prerequisite courses. Back in the day theology had the highest percentage of accepted applicants. It goes without saying that you still need excellent grades in those courses. Not sure why that little face showed up in my post.
