Hello everyone! So I am currently attending Washington State University and I want to transfer to BYU Provo. Since I don’t have 24 credits required to be a transfer applicant, I will have to apply as a new freshman and I am planning to do so for the Winter 2017 semester. In high school my unweighted GPA was 3.93, I played 3 sports and was the captain of all three teams, I was in the top 10 of my graduating class, I took 5 AP courses (only amount offered at my school), got a 26 on my ACT, 1180 on my SAT (I know these are lower than average), and I had over 200 community service hours. At WSU I am in the Honors College, I am participating in two clubs, one of them being the Latter-Day Saint Student Organization, taking institute classes, participating in a major research project with seniors, and I am doing pretty well in all of my classes. I am not a member of the church so I don’t have seminary or anything but I will be getting baptized sometime around November or December? Does this give me a greater chance of being accepted? Realistically, what are my chances?
