I am a sophmore in very well known IB school, I am an international student and a canadian.
I know it isn't easy to judge without any SAT or other grades but do I have a chance of getting into McGill and I am planning on taking the IB Diploma Program.

For those who are not familiar with IB grading, the conversion is like this:
7= A+
6= A-
5= B
4= C
3= D
2= F

9th Grade Semester 2:
Math: 5-
English: 5+
History: 5+
French: 5
Spanish: 5+
Bio:6
Chemistry:6
-- I also got a 4 in PE, but does that really count?

I haven’t entered IB yet, I enter next year in 11th grade. In 10th and 9th grade I just do a normal highschool curriculum but with IB grading. I am eligible for IB Diploma so that is when I will take 6 subjects plus EE and TOK.

From what I can tell you haven’t started the IB then? so you have at least 2 years until university? It’s impossible to tell from marks that aren’t even the ones you will be using to apply.

Does that mean that if I improve my grades for 11th and 12th grade McGill would still consider me, granted I hopefully also aquire good SAT grades? Sorry, I am very concerned.

Sorry I think the US system is different the the one here in the UK. For us only the grades for our final year count towards university applications, so I can’t really hep you on that one… seems kinda early to be worrying about a specific uni requirement 3 years in advance.
