I was wondering if I am able to apply to multiple cal states and get into multiple or are they like some other schools in which they accept you to one and reject you on the others.
Yes it is possible for students to gain acceptance to multiple CSUs.
You can apply to any or all Cal States and you can be accepted at all, some or none. There are 23 campuses and for each campus you need to pay $55 to apply.
If you are a Freshman applicant, Cal States admit based on your Cal State capped weighted GPA and test scores. No essays and no EC’s are considered so it really is a numbers game. You do need a minimum GPA and test score to meet the Eligibility index along with completing the a-g course requirements.
If you are a California HS student, then you should have a local in-service area Cal State where you would get priority as an applicant but not a guarantee.
