Letters of Rec and Essays are very good

It is a reach, but definitely possible! It seems like Northwestern is your first choice so I suggest that you apply ED. RD acceptance rate:26%, ED acceptance rate:33%. So ED does increase your chances. But understand Early Decision is a binding contract and if you get accepted through it you must enroll at the university.

Your EC’s are good, but test scores and your unweighted GPA is a bit behind. I’d say its a reach just based off that. If you have the chance to raise your scores, that’d be good. It’s especially a reach if you’re applying to a competitive major. So I’d say reach, but worth a try. This isn’t your only option, right? Cause I’d pick some matches and safeties as well. Chance back?

“But understand Early Decision is a binding contract and if you get accepted through it you must enroll at the university” unless you ask for financial aid, in which case you can accept or decline the aid offered. It’s actually a binding honor-system agreement.

I think you have a legit shot, if you set yourself apart in your essays and recommendations.

Chance back

northwestern’s rd acceptance rate is like 15% not 26%
