Can I get into Santa Clara University (SCU)?

Hi,

Santa Clara is my #1 choice and I was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback on my chances of getting in. Right now I am a senior in high school from Massachusetts. Here are my stats:

ACT: 25 (I know low, thats why I am on here)

SAT: 1110 (I might not even send this in, depends on how I do when I re-take them)

GPA: 3.76 weighted + college pre calc class junior year (counts as AP)

Also, I am president of 3 clubs at my school, head of student government, ran track/cross country all 4 years and have a lot of volunteer hours (because I do love volunteering.)

I am being totally serious here. If anyone could help me out that would be great! I just re-took the ACT and got a worse score so I have to send in my 25… also thinking of applying Early Action (66% chance of getting in.)

Google common dataset and see where you stand in percentiles for SAT/ACT scores and average GPA.

Intended major?

Thanks for replying! One website says I have a 30% chance but another 50%. . I intent to study biology but will go in undecided. Can my ec’s make up for my test scores?

Did you check the common dataset to see what they consider important in their admission decisions?

Essays/HS Course Rigor and GPA outweigh EC’s/Test Scores.

ACT (25th-75th percentile); 27 - 32 so your ACT is below the 25th percentile
Average UW GPA: 3.67

I would say SCU is a slight Reach unless you can bump up your test scores.
